Riverside County’s death and infection toll is currently updated during the work week only. Riverside County supervisors have requested a relaxation of safety guidelines at the state level. Specifically, the supervisors are calling for a switching to federal CDC guidelines that have themselves been more optimized for economic restart and not health.
One of the first orders early this month was to remove the obligatory facial covering order. The facemask law came under fire after many radicals protested the county supervisors meeting in Riverside, California. Unfortunately, the widely held view is that facial coverings collectively worn would greatly reduce the spread of the still untreatable virus.
